My name is Paul or LatePaul, or possibly Shuggie, depending on where you know me from. I’m a computer programmer with imposter syndrome because I spent most of my early career doing non-programming computery stuff. I do blog about software and related topics sometimes.
Mostly I use this blog to post reviews of books, movies and/or TV shows.
Oh and I’ve been known to write, or at least write about writing.
The title refers to one of my favourite movies and a line that says something about me. I used to say it referred to my Christian faith, but that’s long gone now. These days it just sort of relates to how I feel a lot of the time 😉
The internet has changed a lot since I first started this blog, long ago on LiveJournal. There are so many places where I could voice my opinions, and so many reasons not to. For better or worse this is a place I can choose when the others don’t feel appropriate.

I am drawn to your title: only mostly dead. But in my case it doesn’t refer to religious ideology (which has been completely dead for decades), but to many other things inside me, once very much alive, now mostly dead.
